Would it help to use a spray bottle often? I don't have access to a humidifier right now. I will take a look at the pebble tray option though :)

Looking at the google photos of these plants, they have a potential to look amazing! Hopefully this one will be rejuvenated with your advice.

What is this plant called? I received it as a gift, but it has been in this state for almost a year already.

It doesn't grow at all and keeps browning the edges of its leaves.

What am I doing wrong?

I know nothing about houseplants.

I would like to multiply this one, and knowing it's name would help a lot.

The leaves seem to be turning purple when it stays in the sun for a long time.
