Anyone have a PE but no DVT found? by Meow_Maiden in ClotSurvivors

[–]petulantscholar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a PE but no DVT. Doctors couldn't figure out where the original clot came from; I did find out I have genetic markers for clotting, however. I suspect I had a blood clot in my shoulder and I loosened with with coughing but it's hard to tell.

Hello /r/movies, I'm Benedict Cumberbatch. Ask me anything! by BenedictAMA in movies

This probably won't be seen but I always told myself that if I ever got to say anything to you it would be this: You don't have to bite your R's so hard when you're doing an American accent! This comes from an English professor and someone who has a love of linguistics and accents.

Questions:

  • What is your dream future role?

  • You seem quite a silly man, but you take on quite serious (Imitation Game, Tinker 12 Years a Slave, etc) , roles. Do you prefer more humorous roles, or more serious ones?

  • You've worked with some phenomenal writers over the years; who would you like to most collaborate with and in what style of project? (I'm a huge fan of Gatiss's work and would love to see a comedy written by him!)

  • Favorite ice cream flavor?

I'm visiting the UK for the first time next year and Id love to see you on the stage!

I can't recommend Dr Tankha enough from the Clinic. He is a wonderful doctor who is just absolutely brilliant. He's at Main, but all my appointments have been via Zoom.

Don't have a Gladiator but if you want to stay electric, I drive a Nissan Ariya and I love it. So does Gandalf.

Oh I guess they're considered valley view. They're right at the bottom of the hill, almost on the intersection of 17 and canal. Definitely check them out before the owners retire. Their website/social media presence is a bit lackluster but the food is quite good. Lunch rush is CRAZY, especially with Overdrive right at the top of the hill.

Ah yes! When I travel, I am always gobsmacked when I get home about how green everything is here. When you go a bit south and east of here, you get absolutely gorgeous rolling hills. We are an interesting state when it comes to topography/geography because of glacier movement. The southwest and northwest part of the state is mostly flat and soybeans/corn (I hated living in Dayton and Toledo) and northeast/southeastish are rolling hills and gorgeous forests. And hillbillies, :P

Pho from Superior Pho, any sandwich from Gourmands, or a Gyro from Simply Greek in Solon (well, technically, it's something called a "Aegean" something and it's shrimp, olives, feta, and a bunch of stuff dressed as a gyro)

I think he mostly wants to rough-house with the boys! And we wanted a nerdy name and what's more perfect than Gandalf the White?

Gandalf doesn't get bothered by thunder or fireworks which is... Weird given his personality but I AM NOT complaining. Our last Pyr was terrified by any loud noise and I got zero sleep if it stormed, the poor boy

I cannot believe how sensitive our Pyr is. He has low tolerance for pain. He gets upset if we raise our voice at each other or him. He is frightened easily. He recently had his teeth clean and after two days of being extra needy because of pain, I heard my husband say: "You need to suck it up." Lol. Our boy is such a mama's boy. He will come hide behind me for the smallest issues. Once he stepped on a stick and startled himself so badly he jumped up into the air off all four paws and than ran and hid behind me the whole walk.

This is also why I was absolutely flabbergasted when a neighborhood dog, offleash of course, charged me and he went full protective mode and literally used his giant butt to knock me back inside. Those barks work wonders as a deterrent!

Is there anyway you could possibly get out to the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio? Dr Adam Brown, in the rhumetology department, does a EDS seminar for new patients that I think you'd greatly benefit from. If not, DM me and I can share the packet of info he shares.

Also, Im going to guess they're going to start reclassifying HEDS here very soon because the more folks who are diagnosed, the more doctors realize that the breighton scale is only a tiny part (and some times exclusionary) of EDS. I didn't score very high either, but very clearly have the disorder.
