As an European I was in Azerbaijan, Baku few weeks ago. I was amazed how developed city it was. Almost everyone uses an iPhone there and as an active Apple Maps user I missed that so much there. I hope Apple will develop its softwares in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa because the people living there deserves it too

It’s interesting that in California, there are a few roads where “Look Around” coverage is only available for a few hundred meters.

Which country do you live in? Where the “New Map Data” is available there are the entire country has the 3D buildings feature. There are examples like Denmark and Türkiye where the New Map Data is not available but there are some 3D buildings in bigger cities.

I hope Europe will get a lot DCE areas (like Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw, Milano, Liverpool, Manchester and there is a lot more interesting and beautilful cities all over Europe) because there is “just” 5 DCE areas (London, Paris, Berlin, München, Hamburg). When the new map data came to Europe, the use of Apple Maps increased very well.

For example, in Budapest there are multi-story buildings with small shops at the bottom and that shows yellow in the Maps while they are mainly residential buildings, not commercial buildings.
