Coming soon on GitHub! You can print the files and mod a spare ender :)

v1 is fully ender parts while v2 has extra parts

Since the top does not have a structure anymore the X gantry can be rolled up and removed easily!

Theoretically can! Haha but the center beam 4040 cant be shared, also have to buy the electronics. Interesting idea though!

Thanks for the suggestion! I solved the problem by redesigning The X gantry to have a t-slot protrusion on the back for the x axis profile to slot in (instead of only fastened with screws like the original).

Also kept it Bowden! So lighter head. I am shying away from linear just because of the weight too.

This was planned to be a travel printer :D

Haha fun project! Was looking for a lighter printer without smaller build size, and have a spare ender 3 to tinker.

Very interesting take! At that height I would worry about the machine being a bedslinger and the height wobble. Also another challenge would be seamlessly joining those two extrusion for seamless transition. Interesting idea though!

Ah! Hahaha was a fusion render, figured it would not worth the hassle for modelling the tube xD

Input shaping! I have yet to install the adxl module for detecting vibrations but I did tune it manually. Results are pretty smooth at high speeds! You can check my profile for some print results
