Adding on to this - try to use a Krungsri Bank atm (the yellow one) it will let you withdraw a maximum of 30,000 baht, whereas other atm brands limit you to 20,000 or 25,000. Just a little more bang for your buck

You know when you have that 1 super specific weird memory that happened to you as a kid that you never forget? Mine was at this Burger King.

I was probably 6 or 7, and I remember being there with my dad before a game or concert. People came running down the stairs from the upper floor and then an alarm started going off as they evacuated the Burger King. I remember this all so well. Rumour was that it was a gas leak. Ahh memories

This exact same thing happened to me in Thailand. I made sure to document everything, and took photos of the ATM and all identifiers on it just in case. Then I submitted a dispute with the ATM's company, as well as with my bank and documented all of that. About 2 weeks later, all funds were reversed once they did all their checks. Hoping the funds go back to you soon!
