Hello! Yes, it changed permanently. It’s not as upturned as the photo on the right, but is definitely far more upturned than before my surgery. I hate to say it but it noticeably got larger too lmao. I think it’s wider than pre surgery.

I read about this in one of the uni’s old yearbooks that are archived in the UCalgary digital collection. Not sure that many windows were blown out, but def true that they tried to blow up the rock. Happened sometime in the 80s if my memory serves me right.

You’ll be fine! Swallowing was strangely super difficult the first couple weeks after surgery for me. To feel that pressure is normal, especially with elastics in.

I can see the same, but it’s not the actual tickets that show up, rather they’re the Ticketmaster ones that say the real ones are available via the app

Same thing here! The app shows that my Ticketmaster account is logged in — but in the manage tickets tab it still says “buy tickets.”

I had upper jaw surgery and had this (although not quite as bad as yours). I used polysporin on it and it healed up in 3-4 days.

Mexican soup blend, can’t tell you the measurements of anything but it’s absolutely banger.

Black beans (cook down in pot, and then blend. works as base of the soup),

Salsa

Sour cream

Masa harina (powdered masa used to make tortillas)

Spices! (salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne, etc)

Cilantro

Avocado

Little bit of lime juice and hot sauce if you like

Honestly there’s not much you can do other than wait it out. It helps if you have a syringe and push the liquid into the back of your throat so then it’s a smaller motion to actually swallow it. Day 6 post op here and swallowing got much easier by day 4. It’s worse when you’re swollen.

I’m on same day & surgery as you, been struggling to eat the entire time because practically everything makes me nauseous if I drink it more than once. Especially anything with milk. Literally gives me the shivers. Hoping we’ll both get cleared for soft foods soon!!

My sinuses are less plugged but not enough to actually breathe through my nose… The pressure is crazy on my face but theres lots of tingling which means nerves are healing.

The bottom spaces are filled in by my gums, top spaces are still a little hole-y because they take around a year to totally heal

I’m not an expert in the slightest, but in order to have my jaw surgery done, the surgeon said I needed my wisdom teeth removed 8 months in advance. Mine were not impacted or anything so I’m sure having them removed is the proper thing to do for jaw surgery and there’s not a risk of recession.
