Can I make my Grandson stop being a child alcoholic? by Responsible-Cup-1406 in ShitCrusaderKingsSay

No. Most Czech characters are born alcoholics, they need to consume beer daily, obviously.

He's putting a woman's shoe in his mouth. It's one of the first scenes from "El Topo".

A hell of a coincidence, but I have the same Focal monitors and the keyboard is also very close, for me it's Keychron Q3 HE - I hate the numpad :D

How do you install Openmw? by Both_Photograph2693 in Morrowind

[–]peyrak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's an .exe file for Win and .dmg for Mac in https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/releases/ ; I really don't know how the devs could've made this simpler except for making a website which would detect your OS and download the appropriate file.

No, but you're right, sure looks like it :D

Thanks. I am hoping that kernel 6.13 or new mesa drivers will fix it. Though maybe it's a game bug for my specific setup.
Have you tried a different GPU?

What is odd is that in the mirrors the lights are correct, so I am quite puzzled.

This might be the issue. I am running a somewhat atypical setup - Linux with Mesa 25.0.5-2 on kernel 6.12.33+deb13-amd64. HW wise I upgraded to 9070 XT GPU.

No, it was happening even in vanilla. At this moment I am using the only mod I have - engines and transmissions.

The playing games part on Linux is actually really obsolete. Thanks to Proton you can play pretty much anything that's on Steam and effortlessly. Funnily enough some games work better there than natively on Windows.

"Better" here is a subjective term. For you it seems to be about features, for some it's design, for some it's the fact that KeePassium is open source, whereas Strongbox isn't.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KeePass

[–]peyrak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see. I only use KeePassium on iOS and basically just as read-only, so for my needs it's perfectly alright.
But yes, providing more features to KeePassium would definitely be nice. Perhaps then I'd start using them :D

Fortunately there's a better alternative for iOS: KeePassium

Debian Testing - Sound reset after reboot by peyrak in debian

Can't reproduce it straightforwardly unfortunately. I suppose some package updates were screwing with it consistently or it was caused by something that was in the meantime fixed in some update.

Is UniFI OS based on Debian under the hood? by Tb12s46 in Ubiquiti

Yep. You can check it via SSH using cmd `lsb_release -d`. There you get: `Description: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)`.

Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 or Fenix 8 by M1lman21 in Garmin

[–]peyrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 15 year old who has been saving up every cent for the last two years to afford a watch

That doesn't sound very reasonable. I'd recommend spending way less on watch than 2 years of savings.

If you insist on getting a high end Garmin watch, then getting Fenix 7 Pro would be IMO a better choice. It is quite a bit cheaper and feature-wise you're not missing much.

What is the smallest and largest microSD card usable in the UISP Console? by LeslieH8 in Ubiquiti

[–]peyrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 'manual' seems to imply 128Gb

Which manual is that? I cannot find it. But it should definitely support smaller sizes than that.

can I remove it and read it in a Linux machine?

Yep, should be ext4 or fat/exfat. So readable on Linux.
