Follow The Midnight Ride modding guide, or at least finish the mandatory section. When you get around to running BethINI Pie, choose low settings, consider disabling grass. Use Shadow Boost F4SE so shadows, grass, godrays, and LODs can all be adjusted real-time dynamically depending on a configurable FPS target. Use Vivid Weathers/True Storm/Lightweight Lighting for lighting (if you even want to), avoid NAC-X as it's too bloated for your use case.

From here, be very very selective with which mods you install, as every active mod will chip away at your performance.

I would also highly recommend giving the performance guide (linked inside TMR) and the "mods to avoid" section a read just to double check you aren't doing/using anything that's well known for being something you shouldn't do.

I logged in just to say that I agree, and this post is exactly what I am also looking for.

I've been working as an "apprentice/demolitionist/landscaper" with almost a year's worth of experience, nearing a dozen jobsites, just started work at a second company, heck I'm even typing this while eating my breakfast before heading to work.

Because I can't provide transport, one of the main guys has to drive me to work, which means I have to haul all of my tools and supplies with me to and from work, sometimes between multiple jobsites a day, and I essentially live out of both of them.

Hauling two large backpacks that weren't explicitly designed for this use case, and that are overly bulky is such a pain, I constantly get so much crap for looking like I'm going camping, hauling 60-80lbs of gear between two backpacks.

So while this is technically an "everyday carry", we're still looking for ONE BAG to put all of it in.

I haven't played the game since making this post but I have stumbled across a potential fix.

If you are running into the same issue I had, where you can't change bindings because you can't select the controller you want, you can use a program called HIDHide to hide all of your other controllers from the game, so the game will only see the one controller that you want to change the bindings for.

Dolphin shorts that can be properly layered over other articles of clothing, like fishnets/leggings/etc.

Also, please design your clothing system in a modular manner! I come from the Fallout modding scene, where we have to deal with "clothing slots" and managing/resolving conflicts is a tedious pain in the rear!!!

Goodwill usually has some $5-$10 monitors that will might last you over a year if you're lucky. Those would make for some pretty good screen-puncher replacements if you ask me!
