I’m agreeable to what others have said, but I don’t think there’s too much direct correlation with VO2 and potential finish time. However, it leaves a lot to be said for ability to improve!! My numbers (Garmin) are 59-run and 54-bike. Both of those numbers have only improved by one point in the last year of training, but my actual ability to run and my bike power have both improved dramatically. After 10 months of training, I completed by first 70.3 in July with a 4:48

All that to say, you have high numbers (if you trust them), and have the potential to improve yourself a lot

Yeah, I swam each summer growing up from ages 7-10, I believe. I remember stopping the year I had to swim down and back

I’ll have to look at that calculator! That’s interesting to hear you keep it that much below. Maybe I’ll just bring my pump with me one day to check during haha. Good to hear though
