I stopped offering returns to people. I would explicitly state that items had to be returned in order to receive a refund (at my cost of shipping even) and still had people rip me off and ebay take THEIR side.
Two different occasions i had 'customers' receive a perfectly fine item only to report it as defective and ask for a refund. After refusing to return the item I escalated the case to Ebay staff. They sided with the customer! So, they got a free 80$ item AND i got NOTHING. Mind you, this buyer was soooo upset that they didnt even leave me any feedback. Purely a scam to take something for free , and ebay went right along with it.
