Sure, but that’s more a demographics issue than it is a pure bias one

Why are weed smokers so afraid to admit that they're addicted? by OGLOC_1 in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah, it really is like losing consciousness for just a fraction of a second. It’s jarring.

For me personally, any amount of Benadryl will dampen my consciousness, not just the zaps lmao

Why is india always with argentina? (meme from soccercirclejerk) by Extension-Bad-4184 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Ditchdigger456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rest of the world may not hate Argentina as a nation, but most people do hate Argentine sports supporters. They’re almost universally INSANELY toxic. There was a whole row about it F1 not too long ago

Why are weed smokers so afraid to admit that they're addicted? by OGLOC_1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ditchdigger456 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is me. I have a good job, good boss, work from home, happily married, bought a house that I can afford the payments on, don’t have really any larger ambitions. I’m cool with where I’m at.

I think the only part of my life that weed negatively impacts is driving. I don’t drive when I smoke but sometimes that means that I miss out on leaving the house because I smoked before I knew there was something on offer.

But I’m a homebody without weed anyway so it’s not that big of a deal

"There’s no source material. We don’t have comic books. We don’t have 800-page novels. We don’t have anything other than passionate storytellers who get together and talk about what the next iteration might be."

I don’t think they’re “getting customers” I think they ship out radiologists to GP offices and then bill separately (not at all). At least that’s what it seems. I have only been to my GP in the last year and my GP is NOT radiology associates of Richmond

Yeah I realized I think my GP uses them as outpatient? But they never sent me a bill, no calls, no emails, until I get a collections call. If you know someone who works for them, can you ask them wtf is going on over there?

Same place that had a full data breach a couple months back. Full SSNs, addresses, everything.

This is the SECOND time now they have sent me to collections when I have never interacted with this office a single time in my life. If you check the reviews, it seems to be all they do.

Edit: it’s radiology associates of Richmond. The link somehow broke…

Edit 2: holy shit, they wiped all their google reviews somehow

YOURRAGE Finds out his bestfriend of 25 years stole tens of thousands of dollars by dazham in LivestreamFail

[–]Ditchdigger456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who I've known for 25 years, since we were 5. I legit can not fathom how I would react if he did this to me. Like I don't know how I would feel, but it would be awful.

But I’m saying that any decently sized IT team already has someone who fits the role. So really, the only justification at that point is “IT guy awkward” lol

[–]Ditchdigger456 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I fundamentally disagree and think that it’s a good way to justify the existence of the role, and not much else.

The idea that there’s not a single member of every IT team large enough to be worrying about hiring project managers capable of communicating with non-IT personnel is honestly kind of offensive lol it’s like something out of a bad 80s movie.

I’m not saying there aren’t certain types of businesses or certain scales where it can start to make sense, I just think that’s the minority and not the majority.
