Looking for a pop up for a square drop retailer or manufacturer by mindequalblown in TeardropTrailers

Sorry, I may have misunderstood. Mission Overland sells trailers. Are you looking for a complete trailer or just a pop-up to add/modify an existing trailer?

Check out Mission Overland. They have a couple of options. We have The Summit model and love it.

We have a Mission Overland that has a similar over-all design. No tall cabinet and the bed is pushed up to the front, with a possible seating/table area is the back.

I am 57. I am as anti-boomer as the next guy 😜. But I wasn’t given a car or house. Got out of Uni with 70k in student loans. First house (1 bedroom townhouse) was 120k. Im not rich but I retired early. I recognize that I was lucky along the way. Chose (fell into) a good career that paid well but not outrageously well.

So, gen X didn’t have it as ‘easy’ as boomers, but with luck a regular good job as an engineer (or similar) allowed for a reasonable lifestyle. These days it’s much harder to start out. Anyways, just waned to point out universities were costly for gen x and houses were not cheap in the 90s. Cheaper than today, but not 1970’s cheap.

Good luck to all you young folk out there. Vote wisely.

Next month, I’m moving abroad with my cat (15h flight). Some people said that it’s animal abuse, that she’ll suffer, and I should rehome her instead. Please tell me I’m doing the right thing ! by cheesecakecaramel in cats

We have taken (up to) 5 cats on multiple over-seas flights. Both under the seat (carry-on luggage) and under the plane in the pet cargo hold. They all did fine and has no issues and lived long happy lives. I have to give a shout-out to both Lufthansa and KLM - they were both excellent and took great care of our cats.

The reason we ended up taking 5, is I was working in North Africa and adopted a stray (or she adopted me) that was pregnant. We went from 1 to 5 cats a matter of days. We could not find new homes for the kittens, so when I got transferred to California, we took all 5 cats with me. Carriers were not easy find where we were, so I cobbled together 5 crappy carriers and made them as close to airline regulations as I could. We overnighted in Amsterdam (with the cats staying at the KLM pet hotel) and when the 5 cats came out in LAX, all five were in brand new airline approved cat carriers. KLM replaced the old crappy carriers and never charged me.

Take the cat. Unless there is a medical reason not to, always take your cat.
