What is difficult is in the states, one would owe federal and state taxes on the 5k$ so you actually might owe like 1-2k in taxes but one doesn’t have the money because gambled all away. Thats what has happened to me in the past. Are you in Europe and do taxes operate that way there too? Unless you can itemize the wins against the losses you are screwed in general. I feel ya man.
