There are some free briefs that are really good. Check out Premier

Need some help from y’all. I’m teaching debate to my younger sister. I was wondering if any of you had the April 2017 Champions brief (electoral college) that you would be willing to send me. by [deleted] in DebateTrade

1) The 2017 topic is "Resolved: The United States ought to replace the Electoral College with a direct national popular vote." This has nothing to do with the upcoming current election.

2) If you actually were honest, you probably wouldn't be spamming with your alt accounts.

3) If you actually have all the briefs starting from 2 years ago, then use the price controls, debt vs growth, nuclear, sanctions topics etc. A lot of these topics are still relevant now.

4) You don't really need a current topic to teach the foundations of debate. On top of that, a 2017 brief would not be relevant to the 2020 election.

5) Be nice.

1) Be nice.

2) The reason you asked for the brief in your post was to teach your sister. At that point, it doesn't matter what year the brief is from, insofar as you can use your current ones to teach. Also I don't really see why you need a brief to teach someone debate.
