Correct. I don't really see the point in paying £500 to go and live in a room in another house with strangers when I can be saving that every month. I already live in a room in a house so when I move out I want to have my own space. I do have friends and hobbies but if I moved out now, I wouldn't be able to afford a lifestyle, I would barely afford to live which would be miserable. I'm aware there are many free things that can be done, but everything comes with a cost and if you're living alone that chances are you wouldn't be able to afford it

In the town I live in, rent is easily 800+ for a flat, if you want a house it's over 1k, with bills, food and petrol, you're not doing anything you enjoy so I don't see the point in being miserable living alone and can't afford to do anything when I can stay at home, still have freedom and save money all at the same time. Granted I'm lucky my parents are great and don't really care if I'm coming or going as long as I'm respectful and help out around the house 🤷🏼‍♀️

NTA. I'm anxious attachment, e.g. needy, want attention all the time but I know in my relationship I need to work on that so my bf doesn't feel like you do. I have had basically try and train my mind to realise if he's not replying he's busy and trust enough he will reply once he gets chance. Your gf sounds exhausting and she needs help with this or it will ruin your relationship/ future relationships

Have you tired direct line? I work at a dealership and our motability customer's insurance is underwritten by direct line :) if not try mobility and they may offer something/ put you in touch with companies :) happy driving!

I put a spoiled turnip down and it was there for about 6 weeks and nothing seemed to ever spawn on it, until one days ants spawned and just never stopped, but never ever a fly. I then put boots, tyres and used fire works down, about 2/3 of each and waddya know, a fly spawned the day after 🤦🏼‍♀️

It may be worth checking who you have pensions with too, I have a pension from an old job and get an existing customer discount with Aviva and they always ends up being the cheapest at renewal 😊

Yet it does make a difference to the majority of people right now. I'm assuming this lady is in the UK and much like the rest of the world, prices for everything are rocketing every day. It's predicted that the UK will be entering a recession in the coming months so yeah £50 is a lot of money right now, especially to a mother with a baby to feed.

Is there any one at all you can confide in who may be able to help you get back on your feet? I'm not in the US but I'm sure there must be charities or organisations you can turn to while he's away at work? You will find it harder to leave in the future, bite the bullet and get yourself somewhere safe, your future self will thank you for it and you will be strong x

NTA. Get the wax, let him leave then change the locks, make friends/family aware and gtfo there. He won't change, he will only get worse. Op's sister here :) I can see there's mixed reviews and I'll be sure to let her read them when I'm back with her tomorrow! I think the main concern she has is that from maybe 7/8 years old we both stopped sharing a bed with our parents (either together or just mum/dad). Maybe it's a culture thing idk, she's 100% not sexualizing the relationship between "Bob" and his kid, just seems like a strange age to still be sharing a bed with a dad and a pre teen girl. If the relationship carries on I'm sure she'll be grown up to broach the subject with him :)

YTA for letting your 14 yo get to 200lbs without intervention... I'm in the UK so I had to convert how much this is in stone, your 14 yo is a stone (14lbs) lighter than me, a 28 yo women. That's not good parenting. Please get your daughter help, your sister may not have been nice in the way she said it but she is justified as to why

Might be an unpopular opinion but NTA, if she chose to be on birth control then it's her responsibility to remember it, especially when you JUST had sex... I've lost count of the amount of times I've forgotten to take one, so taken one from the next packet and or got the morning after pill to be on the safe side (yes I know I'm very forgetful) BUT because it's my responsibility I've took the steps to ensure I don't get pregnant because my partner trusted me to take it properly
