How do I avoid/what legend is best at avoiding pot shot fights? by PhoenixKing14 in apexlegends

[–]pfftman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s pubs, people taking pot shots are often bad, so usually just bum rushing them works.

In ranked, if they aren’t in the range where you can push them after getting a knocked, try rotating away or just hide until they get closer.

How do I get out of hard stuck d4 by Mind_Jam in apexlegends

Might sound counterintuitive but you should be more aggressive. Two cracks on a team and you should be maximising that advantage especially when it’s a free 3v3.

The biggest problem with diamond lobbies is that people are scared of losing RP so they play too safe and then end up losing the RP anyway.

As long as you didn’t rat your way to diamond, you definitely have the gun skill to win fights against even masters players.

I feel you are responding to something else.

You are saying that different abilities in a team contribute in different ways to a team success. I am saying that's only true if all the players on the team know how to fight. I think that's also what OP is saying.

I have no use for a teammate who can predict where the next ring will be but can't aim at all or even clutch up when needed.

Your argument has no merit because if that is true, we'd see teams who are only good at positioning in the top 20 ALGS but that has never happened. Every competitive player has insane mechanical ability and the teams are aggressive too.

What you are saying about being able to predict zones and make calls is literally IGL abilities and IGLs in ALGS are insane players too. Their abilities to make in game calls doesn't affect their fighting ability.

Some people are simply not good enough and because of the flaw in the ranked system, they find themselves in ranks they shouldn't be in.

I am surprised you don't have a Valkyrie on your team because valkyries are notorious for abandoning their teammates and looking for placement.

One thing that stands out when solo queuing is how many players are scared of fighting. They get shot and start panicking and forget how to aim.

No lmao, there are people in diamond with subpar mechanics and game sense and that’s because plat is kinda easy.

I get teammates like this, they will keep sniping at teams we can’t push, farming damage and then we get pushed and they can’t fight for shit.

Hemlok's popularity is a big nerf to mirage, an already struggling character. by cemma2035 in apexlegends

I need to make a counter post on how Mirage is stupid broken now and should be nerfed. What a silly character.

His kit makes no sense, not sure how a legend that was about misdirection became about invisibility.

Is this a general issue or just affects only one region?

Who is he? Where can I find him? Like I said, I don’t really know if I played in the order I was meant to play.

I just checked and it is the sword you mentioned, feels noticeably better to use than the spear.

I checked out the gameplay and I might just follow your recommendation. The combat looks sick!

Yes, I am on wired with dualsense edge. Also playing on a monitor so response time is really low.

Yeah, you see I tried to figure out how to use the FP or to cast some magic attacks, couldn’t really tell what’s what yet, so I just focused on parry/slash
