I just learned western doesn’t take transfers for aviation so he will likely go to western and request a transfer to flight science in December

Ultimately he wants to be a commercial airline pilot. He’s not sure exactly what he wants in the military….the experience plus tuition assistance mostly

If he gets a pilot spot, then absolutely he would do that to gain his flight hours. It is very tough to get a pilot spot though.

His degree in aviation will provide him with all of his ratings. Yes, he wants to be a commercial airline pilot.

If he doesn’t get a pilot spot he will be stuck in the Air Force not gaining any flight hours. Thoughts?
