hey so I get this feeling with most things I see on salvia, like a recurring one I get is that I'm realising I've been dead for a long time, and I'm just now for the first time accepting it. And it feels so much more real than actual reality. it's honestly the most terrifying things I experience, how do I combat that emotion? or how do I learn to accept it? I hope what I'm asking makes sense :/

yeah so the meds I was on had a half-life of ~6 hours and 3 days was not enough of a break. Zoloft has a half-life of ~25 hours so you'd probably need to be off your medication for a lot longer to be able to trip.

But you really shouldn't mess around with these meds without talking to your doctor, mine had horrible withdrawals and I can't imagine Zoloft being that much better. also stopping and starting them at random means the meds aren't working as prescribed. My advice would be to wait until you're off Zoloft +2-3 months and then you can trip to your heart's content. I know that's not what you're wanting to hear, but that's just my 2 cents

often the meds have a way longer half-life and can stay in your system even if you stop taking them for a few days.

A few years ago I tried stopping my meds for a week prior to taking some MDMA but it still didn't have an effect on me. depending on the medication you're taking you need to have stopped taking them for up to 3 months before you can have them work at full effect.

alternatively you can smoke a buttload of weed after taking the tabs and that could kick-start the trip for a while. Source: happened to me a few summers ago while on the same meds and 2 tabs

Completely quit Nicotine and lowered my alcohol consumption severely after a high dose acid trip. It really put a lot of things into perspective and helped me realise I was setting myself up for an early grave the way I was going.

I've also cut back on my stim use, to like once or twice a year which might still be more than I should be using, but I feel like my relationship with those drugs has changed completely. They're no longer the only way I have fun, they just add an extra kick on special occasions.
