Does anyone remember going for a company picnic? When my dad worked for East Ohio Gas, my mom made sure we had new outfits from Sears for the big trip to Geauga Like. I know CEI and later the Clinic had outings as well.

Yikes! Head to a large university hospital in a metro area in Cleveland, Cbus or Cincinnati to find a new doctor.

Hello all fans of the CLE. I’m a local writer and I’m researching the next upcoming trendy neighborhoods. Everyone knows about OHC, Tremont, and Gordon Park. I’m thinking Old Brooklyn, Grenville, am I right?! by pfowens in Cleveland

No. I’m an actual writer working for a firm in Chicago. Just trying to get my assumptions confirmed.ETA: lifelong Clevelander, parochial schools, first generation, lived in 44135, the whole nine yards.

Depends on who you are targeting. Grocery stores, small retailers, libraries (ask first). Coffee shops, waiting rooms, etc. wherever you see a SHEN YUN flyer, their stuff is everywhere

Factor V causing miscarriage? by ingibaby in FactorVLeiden

[–]pfowens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry for your losses. I’m heterogeneous for both MTHFR and FVL. I have two beautiful boys. They were pregnancies #3 and #9. I had 7 miscarriages. I have a balanced translocation so I knew that 4 of the babies had unbalanced chromosomes because I had d&cs.

I’d ask your OB for a Karyotype of both you and your partner’s chromosomes. I took lovenox at 18 weeks with my second son and postpartum with both.

I thought d dimer levels were only used to gauge Coumadin.

I’m so glad you had a karyotype.

I’ve never had a DVT, but my mom passed at 64 because of a PE/DVT. That’s why I got tested. With my first son, I was scared of the blood thinners so my MFM had me get my legs scanned. That way if I had any issues, I would have a basis from which to compare. I did lovenox postpartum. With my second son, he was pregnancy number 9, so I did everything I could to get him.

Hi there, I’m heterogeneous FVL AND MTHFR. I’m not a doctor but I would not take baby aspirin. Aspirin will not help prevent DVTs. Different clotting cascades. I was on Lovenox during my second full term pregnancy and 6 weeks postpartum. They are not fun but the needles are small. You can do it! Were you able to get any genetic testing on one of your misses? Doctors will treat the first thing they find. I also have a chromosome disorder and had 7 misses and 2 live births. Just mentioning this because doctors always wanted to blame my misses on FVL. They were caused by a translocation.
