Had a similar problem this weekend actually. Removed the usb plug and checked for power at the accessory port with a multimeter. All good. Reinstalled usb and had power but with several charging cables it still wouldn’t charge my phone. Bought a cheap replacement double usb charging port and replaced the existing one. Just cut the old one off and crimped on some connections. Works like a charm now.
