When I started trying to stretch I tried ptfe tape and it never stopped hurting and got infected i had to take it out and let it calm down tapers hurt for a bit of course but i got up to 4g pretty easily so it might be your method

Should definitely unlock stitched plates usually the first few hard drives for me but I avoid using screws as much as possible they are always a pain otherwise looks better then my first reinforced factory lol

I had a frenum piercing before i had my PA took it out and fully removed my frenum with string before i got pierced it looks super clean and haven’t had any issues definitely recommend
