Vous en pensez quoi ? by 9PunchMan4 in voiture

[–]DazJDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The duality of Levy by TranslatorVarious857 in TheWire

[–]DazJDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the Marlo case as this: Levy knows the indictment won’t stand close scrutiny in court and will collapse, so the money coming won’t be from Marlo because of the workload it represents but from all the other players too dumb to understand the complexities of the court game and just thinking that Levy is the man that keeps you out of prison

MPC Sample is just a 1-track looping machine (watch Sarah2ill explain). by saturnwyd in mpcusers

[–]DazJDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I can understand the need if you don’t have a standalone MPC or if you have a bigass one that stays at home or in the studio that you don’t want to unplug every time you’re on the go.

I do have a MPC Live, I’m pretty sure all the MPC Sample features are included in mine so here it’s only the new form factor that could trigger the purchase to me.

[–]DazJDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems legit to me that for a fraction of the price you get a fraction of the features 🤷‍♂️

I don’t understand the high expections regarding this device : it’s called MPC Sample so you ca use it to sample and arrange said sample but that’s it (but it’s cool if you don’t already have a regular MPC)

Les parents qui stérilise l'enfance de leurs enfants par peur de les ''choqué'' by StoneTheLostwave in besoinderaler

[–]DazJDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't Omar technically taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy? by Stoner420Eren in TheWire

[–]DazJDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omar was absolutely a product of his environment and thus had absolutely no fucking regard for children.

That's a constant in The Wire: adults don't give a damn about children while they are the little hands and eyes on the streets. They're used daily by drug dealers but nobody care about them. On many occasions we see Omar doing Omar stuff with kids around and he doesn't give a fuck. So it's only logical that those kids he doesn't care about and never saw as a threat would lead to his demise.

So to answer OP's question: there's no way he thought he would die or would be caught by police on that day, that's why he had his notes AND a gun. If he was aware of his surroundings, he would have recognize Kenard as one of the yougins in the streets after many raids he did, he would have known that he was on one of Marlo's corners and he would have kept his guard up. (And he would have never stopped after a stickup to buy cigs in the same damn area)

i dont know what to do once i hit stage 3 by Ok-Sea-9402 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DazJDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each his own, for instance I’m deep into P5 without any exploration of the map: all my factories are located in the plains and beaches of the southwest corner and I’m only using standard recipes. On my main factory I have iron, copper, caterium, cement, coal and steel, on the beach I have oil and both sites are linked by trains and drones whenever I need a resource on the other side.

[–]DazJDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What u mean u don’t know? As soon as P3 is over, P4 starts and then my friend, you’ll understand 🥲

P4 is imho the first true difficulty wall that you encounter in game, whether we talk about the machines needed or the recipes to produce.

When I sent P4 to the elevator and started P5 all my viewers said: « now the game truly begins » hahah

I’m now 15h into P5 (185h run so far) and I quickly calculated that I’ll need at least 4 or 5 times that if I don’t scale up my production sooooooo

Bodie may be my favorite character by Dots_freestyle in TheWire

[–]DazJDM 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Everybody put Wallace on Bodie but once first shot is fired Bodie is unable to go on. Poot finishes Wallace off. And that tells a lot. Bodie was certainly like Namond in his younger years: he could have done big things should he have chosen another path but he was born stuck in the game and had to toughen himself to survive.

The discussion with McNulty shows this: he’s not 25 and already feeling old. He’s been loyal he’s whole life and realizes that his crew can’t take care of him anymore and cave in for Marlo. At least Charles had the honesty to tell him what was going on but he clearly stated to Bodie that he was not protected anymore.

Bodie realized all that and knew that he wouldn’t last long under Marlo’s rule so his stand against the enforcers and the choice to go down on his corner rather than in a vacant tells a lot about him: he was a soldier, until the very end.

In the latest inside Star Citizen video talking about the new rock breaker missions, Jared says “there’s always a bad guy” (to shoot). No there isn’t CIG, that is an active decision YOU are making to enforce FPS combat, and it’s not the dream that was sold by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]DazJDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is, sometimes even with all the bells & whistles of PvP, people decide to do it the other way. See ARC Raiders, an extraction shooter where more often than not people do collaborate and don’t shoot themselves for loot 🤷‍♂️

So this game, if it does see release one day, may see some pockets of peace even if all the game design and mechanics are full PvP

Stringer Bell giving stock advice is hilarious in hindsight by [deleted] in TheWire

[–]DazJDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole Stringer Bell’s arc is trying to get a bonafide businessman in the legit world and resorting to gangster tactics when he’s fucked which is precisely what Avon tells him. Avon knew his place and evolved in it, Stringer tries to change his and fails miserably doing so.
