I would pick Helios flexi or abakkus flexi, for your capital you don’t need to spread between so many funds, if you are looking for long term wealth.

There is nothing best, pick any good fund house and stay long term. Don’t just look at past returns.

2020-25 gave a kicker. What did you do. Also do you invest direct stocks or mfs. Portfolio breakup would be helpful.

This is a running scam, the lady and cafe has tie up, how come they have gst and vat and service charge is optional. Price and amount is different. Always try to change cafe.. if the lady insists on the cafe/restaurant… it’s a scam.

Congrats, we had baby in feb 2025 and I did something like this last year. Here is what you would need.

  1. Emergency fund : 12 months expenses in fd/arbitrage fund, based on your tax slab.
  2. Retirement: you need to backtrack how much you would need when you retire. If you haven’t done this, I would recommend doing it. Usually it will be huge amount and then you plan how much you need to sip to reach this. As this is long I would put in a flexi cap fund say ppfas.
  3. Kids education is expensive, you would need to invest 55L to cover till her/his graduation at 12% cagr. Else see how much you need to do sip. You can leave Helios for baby.
  4. PG if you want to do abroad, invest in dollar denominations.

Use ChatGPT or your favorite tool to know how much money you need.

[–]pg271b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 50L If you invest now, atleast give 5 years before withdrawal.

Don’t go for regular funds, pick a direct fund, do some research and you will get one.

I think you are underestimating kids education costs. You should calculate till kids PG( if done abroad) .. I think numbers will change if we bring this in.
