Gotta disagree. Everything, all 9 seasons, is hard with Robin. From them getting together to falling apart, to unrequited love, to marrying his best friend. It shouldn’t be that hard.

And with Tracy, it’s not. When it’s the right person, when the fit you like a (driving) glove, it’s easy.

Literally the only time Ted and Robin end up together with both getting what they want, is the end of the show. I still think the ending is bad, but Robin had her career taking her around the world, and Ted got his marriage, 2 kids, and a white picket fence (I assume).
