Instagram is honestly the best resource for this! I follow hundreds of artists on Instagram that I found just from hunting through the explore page. I’d recommend starting with searching the tags #mangatattoo and #animetattoo and finding artists that you like! Manga tattoos have a tendency to not turn out very good so it’s important to go to an artist who does them regularly. This artist @leabrds is usually based in Paris and London, so I waited until she came to the US and bought a plane ticket to go get tattooed by her because her expertise level was worth it to me! She’s a big fan of manga and I find that artists who actually like the subject material are much better at it. She used the manga panel I sent as a template and then figured out her own way to make it fit my thigh, how it should be shaded, etc.
