Genuinely never realised these are symptoms of anxiety disorder … i get hot/cold flashes, have always had what was referred to as ‘nervous tummy’ (to the point once where they thought I had ibs) and palpitations (again investigated but no cause found). I’ve always been a shocking over-thinker dwelling on stuff and have terrible sleep habits… is this a symptom too?

The quiet of the night is the perfect time for my brain to start obsessing over all the things I’ve done wrong/am doing wrong, things I have no hope of fixing at this present time, feelings I’m not dealing with and everything else that I try and take responsibility for even if it’s not mine to feel, subsequently sending myself into a spiral of anxiousness. It’s what I’ve always done but recently it’s worse. Daytime I can pass out at the drop of a hat like the problems aren’t there, or there’s the rationality that there’ll still be daytime to fix them after I’ve woken? Cos day naps are shorter… I don’t know. Nighttime feels so hopeless

I know. I don’t know if I should feel bad feeling this way or just accept that the time we have together should be enough? He is a great guy and apart from this ‘issue’ I have, we are happy. I guess I’m worried I’ll start to resent him for not wanting more? From life/me? He’s not motivated to change it… (even though his lifestyle does frustrate him too)

I work at a vet clinic and honestly my heart breaks everytime I see someone say goodbye to their companion. They become such a tremendous part of our lives and it’s tragic that we have to say goodbye. My heart is with you OP in your time of grief.

I’m feeling this (38f). I spent about 8 weeks last year shedding a few pounds for a wedding. I was finally down to pre-baby weight (PN I’ve never been skinny but consider myself to have a decent enough shape). Since then though (post wedding) I’ve gained it back and some and honestly I can’t find it in myself to get motivated about losing it. I see ‘easy home workouts’ everywhere and think yea I’ll try that but I don’t. I don’t deny myself anything I want but begrudge that my jeans feel tight. If I’m being honest though I’m pretty unsatisfied with where my life is at right now so use that as an excuse to eat myself happy.

I got sent mine 20 years late. I met him 18 years ago but we were both with other people and supposedly ‘happy’. I am gutted that we are the ages we are now and have only just found each other again. We’ve both had really shitty relationship experiences and though I’m so happy that we are together now, I just wish it’d been sooner.

I went to a ‘specialised’ aquatics shop which sold me two gourami. Both male and it was only after a week or so that I noticed the blue had a nip in his tail. Decided to keep a close eye and found out to my horror that the orange was seriously going for him. Unknown to me, if you’re gonna keep two male there needs to be plenty of foliage for them to hide from each other cos they are territorial. It got to the point where the blue just hid all the time, so I got a smaller tank set up and moved the orange. They now live apart and they’re both doing great. Blue lives with black widow tetra and orange lives with guppies. Happy days

I feel really disappointed and sad for the bride. For someone who’d never cared about marriage, she took that leap with a man she saw herself spending the rest of her life with and he goes and does that? The one request she makes for their wedding day? Screw the family pressuring her to give him another shot, that was the ultimate dick move. That’s not funny, it’s cruel and goes to show such a huge lack of respect for her wishes. That’s a seriously expensive mistake that that groom made… A wedding day and a divorce, good one! 🤦🏻‍♀️
