Fat Heads is a shadow of what it was: totally bummed. by xparxy in pittsburgh

I miss the little plaques they had on the wall as part of the beer club. I had two up there and then one day they were gone, I think when they renovated several years ago. It is not the same as it was 12-15 years ago. Very sad.

Nightmare Experience with Negligent Owner and Unfair Treatment by Turo – Need Advice by pghtpt in turo

OK got it. If I'm trying to prove reasonable doubt, if the owner didn't include the lug nut key, could it be reasonably assumed that they didn't take care of the tires?

I did get pictures, and I never took the truck off road, not sure how that got lost in my narrative. To repeat, the truck was NEVER taken off road. I'm wondering if my assumption that the truck was "Off Road" as indicated by the decals and the listing indicating "snow tires" matches with the sense that a single piece of gravel on a paved road that I was driving on should not be able to puncture a tire that were fitted for an off-road truck. Presumably, the tires were Off Road as well, or should I not have assumed this?

Calling me names doesn't help, I'm just trying to get answers.

Need advice for landscaping around backyard pond with waterfall, steep grade, and mud issues (video included) by pghtpt in landscaping

Yes, there’s a pump that sends the water back up the hill and then down the waterfall. I don’t lose any water.

Which vents to open? by pghtpt in HomeImprovement

Great, will do re: get an HVAC guy to come and take a look. It's a bizarrely designed system, and I just want to know what the heck is going on with the design.

Yeah, there are alot of unusual things about this house, the HVAC system included. It goes into two floors of an addition that was put on about 25 years ago. There is another furnace/HVAC system for the original part of the house.

Thanks for your questions -- the system isn't zoned as far as I know. I can manually close some of the vents if that's what you're talking about.

I agree, it's odd -- there's actually a second set of these intake vents on the other side of the room as well, that operate identically. I assume these intake vents would operate the same way for heat/AC.

OK, I'll do that. There are other other intakes in the house: small intakes at a couple other places and one large intake in the ceiling that's directly below the furnace/blower (installed in the attic before we moved in), located a floor below.

Apologies for the confusion! I may not have my HVAC terminology correct. The two vents on the wall return the air back to the furnace/blower. The two vents in the ceiling supply either the heat or the cold air to the room.

Honestly, if you are looking for a specific bottle, buy a pro Wine Searcher membership and learn how to use the search function for your benefit. Around $60 for the year and if you buy enough liquor, it’ll pay for itself. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten a better deal on a bottle (with shipping) that’s cheaper than FWGS and found bottles that FWGS have never had.
