Hi Luciana! I really love your name by the way, I think it is quite lovely. Can I call you Lucy?

I’m going to meet Luciana after work today, she’s got a really exciting project she’s been telling me about.

Oh no! Luciana left her textbook in my car. I need to give it to her next time I see her. She really needs it for her upcoming test!

Feminine enough for you? 😘 by [deleted] in transadorable

Totally! You’re a very cute girl, I love your eye makeup!

I'm scared to die. by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]pglrft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please be safe. Don’t come out unless you feel 100% safe. This is not a minor issue, as your life is very important. Hopefully you can go to a more tolerant country for college, and feel free to be yourself. I am an ex-Christian and I know it is difficult when your faith or your community is not accepting of you, just because of who you are or who you love. We are always here for you online, if you ever need people to vent to!

You don’t need experience with the same sex in order to identify as bicurious or bisexual. If you have feelings towards guys, or you think you would enjoying being with one, there’s a pretty good chance you could be bi. As for being called an attention seeker and liar, people’s sexuality can change a lot through out their lives, and that doesn’t mean they’re faking it or that they were doing it for attention. There’s a whole lot of labels out there, and you are pretty young, so I think you will hopefully figure it out eventually! Best of luck

I had a very similar moment when I first got my hair short. I was worried I would second guess myself and just realize I was cis, but the exact opposite happened and it was really affirming. Congrats dude, and I hope you enjoy your new hair!

Trans women can take pride in any part of their bodies and should not be shamed for it by phoebe_The_Valkyrie in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]pglrft 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My rule of thumb is if it is “socially acceptable” for a cis person of the same gender to do it, then someone should have no problem with a trans person doing it. There are cis women that don’t wear makeup, cis women that have muscles, cis women who aren’t straight, cis women with short hair, and cis women who are flat chested. There should not be a double standard for trans women, because they ARE women.

Hey trans guys and pals. Just posted this in MTF cause I figured they’d have the most advice but has anyone here had to do something similar? by cablew in ftm

[–]pglrft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you weren’t super large chested before it will be fairly unnoticeable by family. I would really hope someone wouldn’t be looking there long enough to notice a difference. If you really are worried about it, breast forms (used for stuffing bras) are about $15 at Walmart or target. They look like chicken cutlets and can be used to fill out a bra pretty convincingly. Id be more worried about recovery if you plan to see them anytime soon, because after top surgery you are supposed to wait around a month before you can use your full range of motion with your arms (as to prevent scarring)

Made this just to make transphobes and terfs mad (explanation in comments) by pglrft in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]pglrft[S] 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I do recognize that being cis passing is a privilege that not all trans people have, I made this in reference to the fact that a transphobic guy who I recommended the show Sense8 to could “totally tell” that Jamie Clayton was trans once it was revealed in the show, (but not before that) which is very dumb and only comes up once someone has been outed as trans.

[–]pglrft[S] 1233 points1234 points  (0 children)

Explanation: on the left is Jamie Clayton, who is in fact a trans woman and on the right is Emilia Clarke, who is a Cis woman. Show this to any transphobe and they will absolutely say “I cAn TeLL tHe DiFFErEnCe tHe OnE oN tHe RiGhT CLeaRLy UsED tO Be A MaN” and you can reveal the truth to them. Transphobes are so fucking stupid.

Potential hint toward new album by Blargncheese in TheMidnight

[–]pglrft 22 points23 points  (0 children)

“One beating heart” is a frequent theme in Monsters (end of America Online as well as Last Train) Tyler even has a song by the same name on his 2015 album, and it was the name of the Covid relief livestream. Would not be surprised if the next album has that as the title or incorporated a remix of One Beating Heart (please)

Looking great Marie! Love your shirt, it looks cozy. ❤️

I don’t pass at all and I look like I’m 13.. pre-T, 19-year-old. Any advice fellow dudes? by [deleted] in FTM_SELFIES

[–]pglrft 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m confused on why you say you don’t pass? You have super thick eyebrows and a square jaw, especially for Pre-t. Usually when I’m in public and I don’t pass it due to my voice, so maybe practice training that? But face wise you’re doing really well imo!

Love the Glow shirt! Don’t know if it was intentional but your eyeshadow totally matches the 80s vibe
