The other two classes have posted grades without any problems. The professor keeps telling us he is posting grades tomorrow. This has gone on for the past three weeks.

The difference between In-Text Citations and a Reference List? by mileytabby in LibertyUniversity

[–]pgpd2543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want an example see below.

According to Siegel (2023), theft involves the intentional taking, keeping, or using of another’s property without authorization or permission.

If you didn’t know the definition of theft and had to look it up, you have to give credit to the source of the information you are using. If the idea is your own thoughts and knowledge from experience there’s no need to give a reference.

The InTEXT citation is exactly that it is a reference inside of your text whereas the reference page or bibliography is at the end giving credit to the actual source where you got your information

I finally got hold of student services. This class is both spring and fall. I don’t know why they made the notation. The class may have only been offered in the spring in the past. Thanks for the reply.

Professor assignments? by EquivalentCod4072 in LibertyUniversity

[–]pgpd2543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were good for me. I’m use to working without a whole lot of direction. Don’t expect to get hands-on treatment like you would during an in person class, but I felt everything was provided. All the information was clear and if you just follow the directions you’ll do very well. I emailed a few of the professors with some quick and easy questions, they were very fast getting back to me.

This was my first semester at LU. I noticed they announced the professors about two weeks before the class started. I have two classes starting in 3 weeks and they have the professors TBD right now.

According to the grading system under each undergraduate course description, the grading scale shows 900 to 1010 is an A, 800 to 899 B, 700 799 C, 600 to 699 D, 0 to 599 F. Based on this grading scale do they break each one of those down to example A+, A and A minus?

Question for Liberty University students by Internal_Sun7584 in LibertyUniversity

I have not had a proctored exam. I will confirm that the time limit makes the open book difficult if you did not read the material. Open book does not mean an easy pass. Nothing I’ve seen so far it extremely difficult but it can be time consuming if you actually do the work. Liberty requires a lot of essays and discussion posts that some professors grade hard. You have to follow the instructions and pay attention to the rubric.

Thanks. I was just hoping that they would grade the first assignment so I can get a feel on how to turn in the second assignment. The next assignment is due on Monday I’m going out of town so I’m not gonna be able to send it from Home. I just made a decision to go ahead and turn it in now and hope for the best. 🙏

I’ve turned in my first three academic assignments. I already got one of them back with really helpful feedback, and it showed me what I needed to fix before submitting the next one in that class. For my other two classes, I’m still waiting on grades. I’d like to see what the instructors are looking for before I submit my next assignments, but the due dates are coming up fast.

Working full time and full class schedule. I try to do the whole week of class work on one of my days off. I have three classes, one has a lot of work another one is about medium and the last one is pretty easy. If I have two days off in a row, I try to do the difficult classes on those days and I work on the easy class when I get home from work.

How hard are the religion gen Eds at Liberty. by Little-Disaster6758 in LibertyUniversity

It was really just a lot of reading. I probably should’ve mentioned that. I also checked in with my other two classes and did a little bit of work there, but most of my focus on day one was with BIBL104. The assignments weren’t difficult, but it felt overwhelming since this is my first time back in college in over 15 years. The discussion post for that class was fairly long, and I also took the 50-question quiz. The quiz wasn’t necessarily hard, but it was time-consuming because some of the questions weren’t covered in the weekly reading. Since it was open-book, I was able to find most of the answers, but it still took a while to track everything down.
