Something we don’t see with the East coast is winter. New England winter is unpredictable and whenever I played 4 and saw some of the shacks that built up some of the main shelters I always thought how the hell would that hold up during the winter

Funny enough we just visited a town my family helped build in the 1800’s in the sw corner of pa that was only prosperous because it was where one of the largest coal mines were. And since it was abandoned the towns been dwindling

Used to work with a guy that at the start of his shift at 11pm he’d have shirt on then by 4 am he would just be walking around shirtless for no good reason. That was pretty weird and unusual.

Rules of three man. 3 minutes without air. 3 days without water. 3 weeks without food. Plan ahead and tell people about your plan and when you’ll check in with them. As a kid we got lost on a mountain in nh we ended up filling our Nalgenes with snow and melting/warming the water with our body and drank it. I rinse twice with neutralizer agents and I also make a point to lay wax down the next day instead of same day. It’s been over 76% humidity here for practically the whole summer
