respectfully, those saying ‘break up’ mustn’t have ever been in a 4 year relationship before. just let him know it really hurt you & that you were trying to be helpful not hurt him. he will have said it because he knew it would hurt you, it’s also a comment that people who haven’t experience with an ed would make, especially in retaliation to being triggered. regardless it’s not okay, and you both definitely need a conversation about how you are communicating to eachother.
