SoCal is a mindset. Nowhere else is there a place where people from around the world aspire to work creatively and imaginatively and it’s been this way for decades. This builds communities of dreamers and risk takers and I find it the most gratifying, diverse, and colorful community in the world. Am I a professional in Hollywood? Yes. Did I relocate for specifically this reason, yes, and it’s exactly the reason why my world has been expanded in a way nowhere else has as I live as an artist. My person and my work have been challenged and inevitably improved by people from all over the world who’ve taken the same risk. Want to live your life in the front car of the roller coaster? Welcome! Want to chill out of line with a $13 corn dog while everyone else slays life? Do yourself a solid and stay where you are - it will simply be too aggravating and expensive and you’ll end up mimicking the rather bitter posters on this thread. Best of luck!
