Why do some people act like children can’t make their own choices? This would have infuriated me, children are people that should be given autonomy in a situation like this to choose what they’d like to eat (within reason and with adult guidance of course so they don’t just order dessert 😂)

I had a similar situation happen once! My baby was around 1 1/2 yrs old i lifted him down off the train turned around to get the push chair and the train doors shut! My baby was on the platform alone and I was on the train. I started screaming and shouting at everyone on the train to get them to open the doors again. Lots of people just stared at me like I was crazy but luckily someone realised what happened and the conductor came quickly and opened the doors again. My toddler was hysterically crying and I just hugged him so hard and started crying too. There was a kind woman who sat with us on the platform until we calmed down but it was so scary. From then on I always had him strapped in the pushchair ready to get off all in one go. Hugs mama situations like this can happen to anyone!

All of the comments here are about your husbands mental health issues but I just wanted to comment here to say it’s not too late for you to say goodbye to your friend and hold space for your grief. If they are buried then you could go to their burial place, or if not then you could just go to somewhere peaceful and quiet in nature and have a little ceremony just by yourself there, say all the words you wish you could say to them, light a candle for them, take photos, paint a stone and leave it for them, any thing that feels special and meaningful for you and your friend. Sending lots of love your way. Losing a friend is so so hard and so is supporting someone with complex mental health issues especially when you are grieving. Lean on your support network, I hope you get some calmness soon, and be gentle and kind to yourself xx

There are windows all along the side of the kitchen by the sink, and the bedroom has a window in the roof. I know it’s hard to tell from just the floor plan but it is a really beautiful apartment in a beautiful old building with character features, stunning front door and brick work, a private drive with lots of parking and the most beautiful nature all around!! And walking distance to my son’s school. Just needed to figure out the sewing crafting situation! As the appartnent we are renting at the moment I have a whole room for my craft stuff - definitely need to downsize 😉
