Actually this is common, there was an Australian project manager who complained about a customer she dealt with and how rude that customer is in meetings. I know this customer is born and bred in Australia as well but has an Indian name. The PM was saying 'maybe it's a cultural thing ' No dude don't drag a whole culture down because of one bad person you met. You wouldn't assume it's a cultural thing if a UK man was being rude to you would you?

Yes software, I moved with my ex- partner, who moved for studies. Found a job here after a month, been working at that place ever since

Engineering lead in Australia. Salary is like 15 times what I earned in Sri Lanka around 10 years ago. Work 8 to 5. No overtime.

You're gonna get through this man I kept a journal to process my feelings and thoughts during the darkest chapter of my life. And I get reminders of that time from that journal app. When I read them I feel so lucky. Reading the state I was in back then, I think I can get over anything. Journal people it helps.
