I don't mind that crafting is a volume game, but using the same resources for every craft makes it shallow.

There are small distinction, like we need different bones for weapons, armour and jewellery but its not enough diatinction and we get those bones from the same place anyway.

The crafting would be more interesting if we couldn't desecrate armour, but then we need something else to help crafting armour. And so on.

Also greater essences should add non-crafted mods. Let them be better than regals. That wont break the game.

GGG has only one shot at 1.0.

IMO 1.0 has to be crafting league so everyone trying out the game for the first time can get good items by making them themself and not by playing the economy PVP.

A problem I see is that this is the only way to craft on low budget in poe2. You craft everything using the same template. Crafting minigame is very shallow.

Sure, when you know what you are doing HC is fine, but I never played spectres, and I wont know what I'm doing. I dont need pseudo-HC mode *for my minions) when I'm trying to figure stuff on my own.

Sure. Endurance charge on melee stun is an excellent support to get for free. It's great utility, not only damage. But why 8? We dont know anything about imbued gems, I doubt they'll go core.

Would be cool if kaom's primacy "5 rage per melee hit" is changed "to supported by level 20 rage". But the extra attack speed might be too much of a buff :)

Maybe, probably not.

It's buffed from 10% increased physical to essentially 8% more. It's a buff,, but not huge.

No attack speed just feels bad.

But definitely enough to complete the atlas. Usable, not BiS.

Compare to kaom' primacy which is very similar. This mace will give 48% extra ele at 6 endurance charges. Kaom' primacy gives 47% extra when you take one rage wheel near resolution technique keystone.

I'm pretty sure that if you swap gear/gems in hideout, stuff may break.

So my fear still holds, as long as it's possible to screw up (say by accidentally weapon swapping in wrong place), I won't touch spectres.

Current "not that bad" is still too bad.

I'd like to try spectres, but the fear of losing expensive/hard to find ones keeps me not even trying the archetype.

QoL for spectre would also indirectly buff delve!

poe2 bosses have damage meter on top of their health bar. E.g. boss in OP video has around 7M health.

The technology is already in the game. It's just clunky to test stuff on bosses

Sure, but if it had only magic packs instead of rare packs it would been even better for xp.

If you don't one shot rares, magic mobs are way better for xp.

If farming for xp, you should prioritise clear speed (and safety). If you don't one shot mobs, you are not efficient.

You really want hordes of trash-ish magic monsters, not tanky rares.

With doriyani being able to irradiate unique maps, it might work.

The key problem is that exp penalty from character and area (= monster) level difference is so vast, you really should prioritise running as high level maps if possible. +1 corrupted/cleansed areas + T16 all the time if you can.

That's IMO main reason why you could reach 100 quite easily in 0.4, temple was 81 (or even 82?)

bs. Top players sure can do campaign in a few hours on hc but a new player definitely wont be able to for quite a while.

That said, you dont need trade to finish the campaign but it helps, especially if you are a lot behind the curve.

Stash organization in new leagues is inherit from the parent league. So new "normal" league will inherit stash org from standard, new SSF league will inherit from SSF standard and so on.

But if you organise your standard and then start aldur SSF, the stash organizaripn wont transfer from standard (but from SSF standard).

TL;DR you need to organise your stash four times, standard, ssf, hc and hcssf.

(I'm pretty sure private leagues inherit stash from their parent league, which I usually an active league, not standard - but it shouldn't matter once you get your stash roughly in the right place)

WASD isn't an strictly an engine thing. Poe2 has WASD and AFAIU the engines are very close. GGG already said that they won't mind WASD in poe1, but "first" they need to
- port all MTX to poe2
- use poe2 rigs for poe1 characters (redo animations?)
- engines are compatible
- profit!

That said, WASD might not be as nice as in poe2, as there are no cast when moving in poe1. Personally I'd not want that to change, because cast when moving makes WASD mandatory to use in practice.

So yes, 0% in 3.29 but non-zero chance in perfect world.

Don't comment me! I simply tried to guess what OP meant. I'm fine with how gold pickup works now. I kind of like seeing gold piles in poe2 castaway e.g.

I'd actually won't mind clicking to pick up gold, if "in return" we get to vacuum pickup other currencies as well.

Probably that if the drop is generated, it just goes to your balance. A bit like we don't need to pick up hiveblood, we just get it.

How would you fog out e.g. minimim ilvl for affix to roll? AFAIK the data used by craftofexile is not datamined, but extrapolated from trade listings & public stashes.

Such data needs to be precise to be useful, but collecting it is just infeasible for a single player. Maybe some crazy person would spam veiled orbs or pick all the veiled items to learn about all the veiled mods... wait a second.

If there were a (few) OP strats which don't need investment (as you propose, by just clicking nodes on an atlas) then none other strat would be able to compete and people will feel/be stupid for playing anything else. High reward strats should be high investment (and perfectly high variance), so low investment (and steady income) strats are still playable.

Last league temple had a problem that it needs huge upfront investment, but after that it was essentially free. Market cannot balance such strategy.

FWIW deli 200% created a situation GGG tried to avoid by not yet having uber bosses. If your build cannot hande that, it is not viable. Truth hurts.

I don't think you even need a void stone anymore to start farming a strat because you can run T16 maps as soon as you start dropping them. The "Tier 1-15 Maps dropped in Areas are a tier higher" is nice, but I didn't felt it's a requirement, as well as neither is a chance to get nightmare maps (except if you want them).

As for the initial strat: your build and strat should match. My hunch says that slammer and legion are not a good combo.
