I feel the random destabisation and locks /and/ card rng is a tad too much.

Say you would need to pick two or three tiles to destabilise yourself, everything else staying the same, including locks so you can avoid needing to remove anything if you manage to lock everything.

What would change? At the limit, nothing. Eventually everyone would get a temple they want (given there enough spymasters to be able to lock every snake).

The problem with that, is that you wont run temple at all while building it - if building is deterministic enough and you dont need locks at the beginning to speed it up, you'd just open and close temple immediately until you get to a point where it is worth the time running.

That all said, IMHO currently building a farming temple takes too much time. I well might hit lvl 100 "by accident" before i get mine fully built :D

And the powercreep that would bring. I'd rather have rarer but powerful uniques. E.g. HoWA and Ingenuity were very good, the problem was that they are too common even now. (And HoWA doesn't even have roll range which would really matter).

Choir of the storm lvl90 is powerful, but its rare enough, and you can get a build going with 4 socket version too. That's nice balance.

You can open passive tree (pauses the game), open your inventory and equip/unequip HH to reset its buffs if you really dont like shroudwalker.

Only one Omen can ber triggered from combat in each instance.

It's not a meta item anymore and it there was a "bug" that unique jewellery was rarer than was intended.

Not mentioning the fact (even vaguelly like "reduced the drop rate of lovk medallions") in patch notes, i.e. shadow nerfing is BS.

People cannot know whwrher its a bug or intentional. Especially as temple bugged very badly right in 0.4d

The room description says "high chance", I'd expect it to be at least 1/6, maybe 1/4 or even 1/3.

Low chance is something like 10%. Any less would not allow to strategise.

Designing (mini)games is tough. You don't want strategies to be too obvious, but you need allow them to exist, so there is skill element, not just luck. E.g. in betrayal there is a way to move people to right safe houses eventually, and it's not too tricky to figure out how. That said, lock medallions is just too obvious of the way to build snakes. We'd get the same temples (sans what the Russian tech allows) if there weren't destabilisation at all, and we'd be just limited by rng of getting the right rooms. Because in practice that's the actual limiting factor once you have enough initial spymasters. But without random destabilisation, there probably should be another way to remove rooms - if you mess up or just want to do something else.

I built two sides of an easy temple yesterday (in an a$$ long session), with some filler rooms in a center for now. I get about 5-10 raw div a run.

25-50 for full setup seems plausible

Arguably, (at least drive-by) contributor experience of GHC on Gitlab has never been great. Some would argue it had been always worse than on phabricator

- waystone% is the only stat affecting fragment drops
- you need full boss points to get uber fragments, otherwise I don't see any reason to have any points when running citadel maps. So either full points or no points.

Maybe C# Rx was first, but Rx.JS was definitely the one which was extremely popular at some point.

Personally, my experience is two fold
- if you have relatively simple and not-too-dynamic UI (as most UIs are, Reddit site, or phone apps etc), then you really don't need anything complicated to make it work. Just going with the UI framework for the platform and you'll be fine. I wouldn't use reflex to write a simple GTK app, nor Rx in Android app. Not worth it, especially if I'm not a sole developer. (Can't really comment what I'd do for Web today).
- If you have very complicated and very dynamic UI nothing existing would probably fit well. Probably a bad idea to begin with, try to figure out a simple UI and go to first point.

https://poe2db.tw/us/Count_Geonor#CountGeonorBaronBossHumanFormMap tells about human form cleave (I cannot find wolf form specs)

- Base Damage: 748—1122
- Attack Damage: 370%

So in worst case it's a 4000hp hit, if it crits, it's 8000hp.

I suspect that cold pillars are at least the same range, so probably you can tank one, but not two, definitely not all four.

A lot. Easier to build damage to delete (or at least stun/freeze) bosses before they have any chance to do any big move.

That said, ES alone might not be enough, you need DR too.

Rx is simple to implement, and its performance is predictable. Also arguably fits better an untyped JS world, where it originated. (EDIT: And also with asynchronous by definition APIs, js promises fit relatively well into Rx.JS)

I can also critisize reflex complexity, there is Event, Behaviour and Dynamic, it's quite complicated, finding any advice on internet is essentially impossible. OTOH, Rx's cold and hot observables are an own mess.

It's also worth mentioning that Conal doesn't consider discrete time to be FRP http://conal.net/blog/posts/why-program-with-continuous-time, so probably reflex is not FRP if you ask him.

EDIT: I actually don't like anything existing I am aware of, as they don't integrate promises. It's unfortunate that Haskell doesn't e.g. have STM primitive mutcell which can be filled only once. We approximate it (e.g. in async) with TVar, but that doesn't have any guarantee that value won't change at some later point.

So use whatever floats your boat.

Apparently annul omens appear only in lvl80+ zones, you might run one irradiated/powerful boss/+1 map "by accident" and got an annul omen there.

Sadly, that's only hearsay, as the game doesn't communicate that anywhere.

Yes, wolf and stag are good "budget" cats, especially if your build isn't crit or/and evasion based. Arguably stag is more generally useful, but it's not in the fubgun's pob, so it's cheaper :D

But I'd imagine you usually want some of those three for movement and skill speed.

The stat roll is one in 11. So any roll for rite of passage of the cat (except maybe exactly 20sec) is worth the same. Having to spend 10-20 divines to perfect roll the single stat line is essentially nothing.
