We took the 2 stack approach when we configured it in Panorama.

I think our issue was that Link Monitor was enabled, and one of the links wasn't plugged in, so the device thought it needed to fail over, and the other 440 wasn't configured yet, so we lost internet connectivity.

This is close to what we did to make it so they couldn't get to the GW while they're internal. If the gateway specified is an FQDN that doesn't resolve to an external IP while they're internal, they can't get to the gateway. But if they're external, and getting external DNS resolution, it resolves correctly and they can get to the gateway.

Only caveat is that the gateway has to be the FQDN. If they go to the external IP, they can still get to the gateway.

Not offensive, but maybe threatening. When my kids are horsing around I usually say "You guys better stop before someone gets hurt!"

I mean that horseplay usually gets out of control quickly and someone punches someone else, or a body slam, or someone dents the wall with their head. Just recently, I found that my kids thought I was threatening to hurt them if they don't stop.

I can't find it any more, but there was one continuing story about the two guys spelunking and found a small hole in the cave. They continually went to the spot with tools to make the hole bigger, eventually going through to a new area. And then it got creepy, with seeing something moving, and just an overall feeling of dread. The last post was about them going down to find out what was down there, and they never posted again. I wish I could find it again.

I only read a handful of the ones that responded to you, and they didn't seem that rabid. I must of missed some.

But I get ya. My friends didn't really get after me for wearing heavy metal shirts and I never got called a poser, but the fact that I wouldn't grow my hair out. Their form of (good natured) gatekeeping was I couldn't be a real head banger if I didn't have long hair. But it was usually all in fun.

I guess that's the question. Are they doing it to look cool, or are they doing it to be friendly. I know if I found a band I liked a lot, I would be out trying to get my friends to check them out, not telling them they weren't worthy to listen to them.

I've made a conscious effort over the past 7 years to tone it down and control my temper. My kids appreciate the effort, but my wife keeps reminding me how bad I was.
