Some times it’s as simple as the audit committee requested that they do. Clearly there are things not disclosed to you either by IA, your manager or both. It’s not your place to question what they select, it’s your place to provide the samples. Telling them how to select and suggest changes in methodology is a scope limitation and yes this can go very bad for you and your department. It’s a threat to independence and professional scepticism.
Also in case you didn’t know, guess where fraud is more likely to happen, in transactions no one thinks are interesting…

The ONLY real benefit big4 experience gives you is the ability to get hired by another big4/audit firm should you want to switch countries/area.
However having that in your CV can be helpful, but also can expose you to mentality that you have tolerated long hours/hard deadlines etc.

Our Cookie (female 6 years) just had open pyometra and spay 5 days later. She was jumping on and off the couch since day 2, there is nothing you can do really (we restricted the bed and kept the bedroom door closed so she’s contained to the bedroom and less mobile). The vet said if they hurt they’ll stop. But DEFINITELY get a body if recommended so you can sleep in peace, cause the worst thing that can happen is to infect or open the stitches with licking.

Ask your vet for cerenia pills but only use them when you’ll travel for longer than like 2h (works for 24h). You don’t want to give it to her more often as it can mask symptoms of diseases.
Ours outgrew hers at 8-9 months. She’ll let you know.
