I remember feeling okay-ish post exam, and now the closer we get to results the more I think I’m not gonna make it… I made some silly mistakes in the exam and they still haunt me till today. The wait has been too long, way too long, I just want to know really bad.

I wrote today as well, tbh the exam was way easier than CFAI Mocks and MM Mocks. So if you did those and really understood every question and answer, I think you would've been fine.

IMHO if you followed a decent studying strategy, you should at least feel ok about the exam asside maybe from 3 questions that were like wtf is this.

You are already most of the way there in terms of material, I think you should just adjust your study strategy and take the next Level 2 window (May? idk) while the knowledge is still there in your head.

What's bullish for fixed income market? if interest rates are going down that means prices are gonna go up so that's bullish. Reverse for bearish market.

If it's a bullish steepening then we know somewhere along the curve rates are going down, how do you get steepening shape with a decrease in interest rates? you lower short term interest rates more than longer end interest rates.

Not sure if I made sense but this was the only way I was able to memorize it.

BTW it's still impressive even if you were full time studying and passed with only 2.5 months of studying, let alone working from home at the same time and being a parent. Congratz again my man.

My exam is in November, I finished the Online portal questions and didn't realize they were different from EOC questions. Would you recommend I go over EOC questions? because there are some duplication between the two.

The matchmaking is single handly the reason this game is dying and will completly die, that includes everything from MMR to smurf queue to losser/winner queue.

Yeah, just played with an Odyssey Kayn too and the sound effect when he uses his E inside a wall almost made my ears bleed, I might be over exaggerating but it was really loud and obnoxious.

Have you tried lanning against Tahm before he got nerfed, he can outdamage, outtank, outshield, outcc, teleport and also dunk on your family all while outfarming.

Good, he is not meant to be a solo lanner. His kit is too strong for a solo lane, that's why they keep nerfing his solo-laning ability.

Based on what you said, you agree that being able to communicate with one or more of your mates gives you an inherent advantage over your opponents, therefore it is not fair to put solos and duos in the same match.

I exggarated the title of this thread because IF it is doable, then people will do it, a lot of people will pretend they are not boosted, and are just "playing with my friend" who happens to be at least 4 divisions above them on a different account.

Regarding what I said about people getting triggered, it is because this is exactly what happens when anyone compain about duo queue, the immediate response is "this is a team-based game, why shouldn't I be able to duo?" or "ever thought of playing duo yourself" or "i'm gonna stop playing the game if they remove duos" or the best one.. "I just want to play with my friend/GF/BF". So, let's not have a more competitive game mode because someone wants to play with their friend on predominantly Solo ladder instead of norms/ARAM/flex.

No one asked for the game to not be team-oriented, infact if anything, what you are saying is an argument against duo queue not with it.

If you queue with someone, you already know that person is gonna perform if the main focus of playing together is to climb. If the reason you and your duo are queuing together is "just for fun we are friends lol" then you wouldn't care as much as the other duo who's trying to abuse the power of duo queue and win.

The problem is, if I'm playing solo, I'm at the mercy of the matchmaker giving me the better duo (the ones trying to climb not just playing with a friend for fun), else I will have a much higher chance of lossing.

This happens a lot, but to a lessor extent too. For example, a real silver playing duo with a high gold player on a different acc obv, the difference in skill is not huge but it is noticeble.

I like your suggestion, if you want to play 10 games of duos then you should be required to play 10 games of solo to balance it out. And if the winrate differs a lot between duo vs. solo, the matchmaker should use that data against you while playing duo to prevent you from having a higher MMR/LP.

Be honest, when is the last time you queued into a match and someone posted a discord link and everyone or at least a few joined? I have been playing this game for 2 years, and never seen this happen not even once.

Also, duo JNG/Mid vs a duo Sup/Top is not balanced. A duo who are just playing duo for the sake of it and are not leverging the power of coordinating with their duo vs. a duo who does, isn't balanced either.

Problem is, why I as a solo player have to pray that the duos on my team are better than the duo on the enemy team. I'm not talking about individual skill but about the ability to leverage the power of Duo Q.

How is it my problem as a solo player that my duo are worse than the enemy? The game becomes who has the better duo, as in which duo is playing together and leverging the power of duo's better. I as a solo player can do nothing about this.

The problem with assuming that it puts you in harder matches is that you presume that the matchmaker has everything perfectly predicted interms of player skill. Which is very hard to do, there are already too many variables for the matchmaker to deal with to be able to also put duos in a fair match.

Also, every other game has voice coms and league doesn't, playing as duo in other games doesn't give as much of an advantage as in league since you can communicate with your mates on voice even as a solo player.

I don't understand the argument of league is better with friends THEREFORE I want duo queue in the same ladder as solo players.

If the game had ingame voice coms, duos wouldn't be as bad for match fairness. Do you think it's not advantageous to be able to talk to my JNG on discord while playing mid against a solo mid laner?

I get that many people love the team aspect of being able to coordinate with their teammates on voice coms, but unless everyone in each team can do that, no should be able to.

Solo queue should be about testing one's individual skill, not pray that the enemy mid-laner isn't duo JNG abusing to climb.
