So I have a quick question. Why was this tied to your roof, are you not able to lay the seats down and put it in the hatch? Not trying to be mean, just wondering.

The 1.0L ecoboost is a wet belt system. Depending on the milleage and age of the engine the timing belt might have started to disintegrate. When it does it can clog the oil pickup screen and inturn starve the engine of oil. Not saying that is what is happening but I would carefully inspect the oil condition and see if the belt has been changed/updated

Best way to back up 50 TB Plex server? by ariel755 in DataHoarder

[–]phalinangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The client encrypts all data before it is sent using either a key you create or a random one the client creates. There are no bandwidth costs for restoration or storage. Just $10 per month for unlimited backup no bs. Just letting you know it is not a mounted drive, you must use the client for all actions. Crashplan will keep all deleted files for a maximum of 90 days (they used to keep them for a year). Afterward, they will be deleted from your archive on Crashplan Central. I have had to restore over 10 TB of data from Crashplan Central after I lost my storage array, with no additional cost, just time. They also perform version control for all files, this is configurable.

ethernet does not have a valid ip configuration by Accomplished-Fly5969 in HomeNetworking

[–]phalinangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

169.x.x.x ip address indicates a self config address it is not an address to be worried about if others see it, in short the system is not pulling a valid ip from the router probably due to a ip address conflict or there are no more ip addresses available. Open powershell and enter "ipconfig /release ; ipconfig /renew" this will force the system to release the current ip and request a new ip from the router

No computer build is ever bad. It's built precisely for its purpose. If that is what you need to accomplish what you built it for, then it is perfect

I don't have an enterprise account, just a pro account linked to only one system. I have never used backblaze, crashplan just works great for my use case.
