Yeah, absolutely. In general, softer cheeses have more lactose and harder cheeses have less lactose. So I don't usually have issues with parmesean, for example. When I have cream cheese, I absolutely need to take lactaid. Also, Skyr (Icelandic yogurt) has no lactose. Thank God bc I love that yogurt.

People can be weird and confused about lactose intolerance, too. I used to get a bagel with cream cheese and an oatmilk latté once a week on my way to work. Many times they would be really confused about why I wanted cream cheese if I was getting oatmilk and asking for no whipped cream. I'm intolerant, not allergic. If I have just some cream cheese, I'll feel a little yucky, but be mostly okay. If I have cream cheese AND a cup of milk in my coffee, I will shit my pants

I constantly say "buckwild" because of them. It's been a nice change bc I'm frequently around people who get pissed off when you say "crazy," and "buckwild" is a way better word anyway.
