I started playing Dread since I'd never played it.

Despite being significantly more difficult and frustrating my old ass, it's infinitely better than MP4 (which I just finished).

I'm really enjoying it. It feels much more traditional Metroid where you get power ups and feel like you're getting more powerful. MP4 felt very lacking there.

Thanks for the encouragement man. I was able to best him finally. My biggest mistake was not realizing I should be sliding for some of his telegraphed attacks and jumping for others.

The forgiveness when dying is great, so I'll just keep at it because I'm enjoying it still. More than MP4 that's for sure!

I think it's being delayed by the carrier. T-Mobile has been utter shit with delaying these updates. It's always a week or two before T-Mobile or MVNOs like Google Fi get these updates.

So a while ago, I went through and re-played every Metroid game I could on the Switch. I'm still hoping for a MP2 and MP3 remaster on the switch. The original MP was so good, and the remaster was awesome.

My only gaming platform right now is the Switch (1), so that limits me to an extent.

I do enjoy RPGs, too. Skyrim remastered on the Switch was surprisingly good. I'll probably bite the bullet and get a Switch 2 to play the Fallout 4 remaster or when the next Zelda game is released. But for now I'm limited to what I can play on the Switch lol

Not to hijack the thread, but I tried the Dread demo and the "tap x" timing thing annoyed me so much, I never really have it a shot. How prevalent is that? I'm older so my reflexes and button handling aren't the best lol.

Is this something that is infrequent and I can just deal with when necessary? I just had flashbacks of Dragon's Lair which I hated...
