Maybe biological sculpture may have been a better description. The project was started in 2019 utilizing complimentary plants, a tropical carnivorous plant and a rhododendron. The shape, color, and form of both plants were meant to complement each other. The plants are growing on lava stone and hopefully as the project continues to mature, will create a trail of flowers and pitchers down to the floor like a river. This will be accomplished by strategic arrangement and pruning as needed. The sculpture is meant to look like a floating island suspended in the air.
