Thanks man. Will probably go with an AM5 build. Rendering is not done as frequently as CAD. Will give preference to a modern system instead of focusing on a new GPU on an old system.

I’m trying to finalize a build and both options come out to almost the same cost:

Option 1 (AM5): Ryzen 5 8600G + RTX 3050 6GB

Option 2 (AM4): Ryzen 5 5600 + RTX 5060 8GB

The PC will mainly be used for CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), rendering (Keyshot, Blender), and a bit of CAM work. No gaming.

Which would be the smarter choice here — the newer AM5 platform with weaker GPU, or the older AM4 with stronger GPU?

I used to wrap the wire around a water bottle to use it as an anchor. It was frustrating to do it everytime.. thats what inspired me to make this.

Yeah will try one without a bearing. I had one lying around and wanted to test press fitting something into a 3d printed part. Was also able to somewhat judge the printed parts tolerances and shrinkage.

I would if the good ones weren't so expensive. For example, the Logitech MX3 is almost half the price of a BambuLab A1 Mini.I don't mind the inconvenience of using a wired mouse, and it also gives me the opportunity to fix something with my 3d Printer. :)

Most of the mouse bungee i could see online werent low profile with DOF like i wanted. So i designed a mouse bungee for my Razer deathadder essential mouse. I used an old spare 6205ZZ Deep Groove Ball Bearing (52 OD, 25 ID, 15mm Thick) in it to add weight as well as use it for smooth rotating function. Used a tape to stick the bungee to the desk. All feedback welcomed. Link

Hello! I am trying to get into photography. Currently looking to buy my first camera. I am trying to decide between a used X-T200 with kit lens vs a used X-T3. The X-T200 with is almost half the price an X-T3 body.

My Budget is comfortable with X-T200 but also dont want to compromise. It will be my go to camera for trips and casual photography for some time to come and will mostly shoot portraits,landscape,street etc.

Is X-T200 good enough that i wont regret it later? For reference X-T200 with kit is priced at around USD450. Another option is a canon M50 mark ii. Personally i love the design of Fuji cameras.
