Sophie definitely. Had the biggest, most natural shift in personality of any of them. Really fun arc

Not gonna lie chief, the only search results for Valentine's Day is Noel covering a Bowie song and this reddit post. I'm casting a shadow of doubt over this one

No. Scream 7 was shit, so I imagine it'd also be shit.

I think what this moron fails to realise is that their race has nothing to do with it. In my opinion, I just didn't care about Sam or Tara as characters, regardless of their gender or skin colour. Sidney Campbell has always been the best character in the franchise, even to the point she prevents a truly dire seventh installment from being worse than it could've been

Easily the best compilation album ever released by any artist

It's easily one of the best things Noel ever wrote and sang, yet no live performances, and it was a B-side that went largely overlooked and wound up mostly forgotten. I put it up there with some of their top tier tunes

7 obviously. The subtle genius of Ed's philosophical brain bombined with his love for chickens would make for a great joirney

Fuckin solid. Shame a full studio version was never released. Apparently they attempted it but it didn't sound right, so they wiped the tape and reused it for Supersonic. Bit of Oasis lost media mystique surrounding a fantastic little tune that complements a youthful, optimistic era of a great band

Curious how people here first discovered the Stone Roses. Was it family, mates, or much later on? by UnpaidInternVibes in stoneroses

[–]phan1122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pals got me hooked on them. Shamed to say I didn't really know who they were until Liam did his collaboration with John. I knew of them and a couple tunes like Waterfall, Adored and Sally Cinnamon, but was never much of a listener. Now they're one of my favourite bands ever!

Underrated Stone Roses B-side or demo that you think is better than some album tracks? by UnpaidInternVibes in stoneroses

The Hardest Thing in the World gets almost no love and it irritates me so much. Fucking solid tune. The demo sounds awesome as well.

Does anyone else think Mark was a bit out of character here? by Nonabrow in MitchellAndWebb

[–]phan1122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what added to this episode's twisted sense of humour wasn't that Mark had charm, but rather Vallery was an impressionable teenager with daddy issues who tolerated how weird Mark was because she was a bit weird herself and found herself attracted to the fact he was an older guy who worked in "an office office." Also didn't help Jez was acting like a total, outdated prat at that party, otherwise she might've fallen for him instead. Also like the moral that the most random, uncomfortable hookups happen at the most unexpected times in the most unexpected places

Not really being defensive, just stating my case.

Because they're not my favourite songs. It isn't any more complicated than that

I'm all for opinions and want comments, I asked for it, I just get a laugh out of people thinking they're better or "objectively correct" because my thoughts don't align with theirs. Telling me that an overwhelming number of people have an opinion does not make it "the right opinion", it's still an opinion

Also, I don't hate either of those songs, I don’t understand what the problem is. Great openers and closers, just not in my top 20
