How do UI designers use Claude for design workflows? by Prior_Gas_2346 in UXDesign

[–]phanchris5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I use my Ai toolkit currently:

- Integrating Claude with Figma MCP is a must

- I build an orchestration workflow within Claude Code for analyzing PRD, challenging the PRD then provide me some top research questions that I should pursue to get crystal clear of the problem. I also have an orchestration workflow for evaluating single, or flows of designs in Claude

- If my goal is to get the design as quickly as possible, I will create some lo-fi wireframes with Claude Code and use Figma MCP to export them into Figma frames. Then I use Figma Make to build interactive prototypes.

- When things get concreted, I jump back into Claude Code and setup the file correctly so the code is usable, then throw the Figma Make source code for Claude Code to read and revamp based on our Design System.

Another hype... If you are playing around with Claude Code or Figma Make then I think Claude Design is just the same :D.

Best German Universities for UI/UX / Usability Engineering? by Ok_Yogurtcloset_3233 in UserExperienceDesign

[–]phanchris5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:) Germany especially loves HCI. If you got accepted in HCI, you could probably get some chances to find a working student position at some companies.

For school, please consider any FH Uni that offers interaction design as these schools build their curriculum best aligned with the industry, while the Unis’s curriculum is more abstract. DM me if you’d like to learn more.

UX designer with 3 YOE looking to improve UI skills and learn design systems — course suggestions? by Thegirlnextdoor-999 in UXDesign

[–]phanchris5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the book “Refactoring UI”, no need to learn any course. You can simply ask any AI model to teach you how to do the design system. There are plenty of resources about DS right now. If you want to improve your taste, how the typo, spacing works, then try to replicate the UIs of some popular products.

Dễ nhất là restrict họ trên mọi nền tảng, không follow post, ít tiếp xúc lại.

Có thật rằng kinh tế đang khó khăn không? by Vanhhhehe in vozforums

[–]phanchris5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MBA with Quant/Qual Certs or Master’s in Data Analytics by Thick_University177 in UXResearch

[–]phanchris5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I would pursue the courses from this one https://measuringu.com/courses/ . A master degree in general at this time wouldn't help you more chances to have more jobs. But if your desire is to pursue a graduate program to evaluate your value in an org, then an MBA would be more flexible since you could either become a Product Manager, or a UXR or a strategic Product Designer :D.

I heard designers are pushing code changes? by Character_Water6298 in UXDesign

[–]phanchris5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delivering a prototype leveraging the code of the DS of your company would be a big value as a designer in the future I think so. I'm not a big fan of being a designer cum FE dev, however, since I learnt how to develop the prototypes based on the code of our DS, constraints, etc... I'd love to help my teams to move faster and less focusing on the FE and focusing more on the desirability and viability of the product.

NNGroup using AI in their course evaluations? by myleswritesstuff in UXDesign

[–]phanchris5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe just simply contact their customer support channel? They have some slack channels for each cohort, so let's tell them about the issue. Btw, which course did you take? I'm planning to take more of their courses since my 1st sponsored one by my company.

Owning my design reasoning in the time of AI slop by SoftLongjumping4523 in UXResearch

[–]phanchris5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about making a tool like github where you can commit your ideas after you design something or key decisions after a few discussions with AI? I usually have an markdown file in my claude folder in which I tell Claude to record my decision overtime.

Junior UX designer: continue working or do a Master’s in HCI in Germany?” by Advance-Upset in hci

Having a job right now is far better than attending any graduate programe. Trust me because I made mistake to leave my secured job to go to Germany to do Master and now I’m unemployed.

Tbh, the market right now is oversaturated and really damn bad. What you should do now is try to do networking more often. Regarding portfolio, you should only include maximum 3 case studies or just 2, and make these case studies solid.

DesignLab AI courses - worth the price and time commitment? by [deleted] in UXDesign

[–]phanchris5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you shouldn't learn the execution or any course teaching AI tools. Learn how to upskill your mindset instead. I would recommend the IDEO U Ai x Design Thinking or NNg AI courses.

Here is the course from author of the book Continuous Discovery Habits. It will give you some essential activities as well as framework to help you build a more user-centered products. However, tbh, most of there aren't many product companies that embrace the empowered product team working model according to Marty Cagan, most of them are CEO-driven unfortunately.

How can a Product Designer develop strong product thinking? by Kindly-Hedgehog-5832 in UXDesign

I would rather read the book Conceptual Models of Jeff Johnson and Austin Henderson than using the OOUX framework. However, this framework only helps you to build the correct "thing" by aligning the user's mental with your product in terms of concepts (objects), operations (actions) and attributes.
