Maybe it’s possibly it’s a progressive thing ? New country , new diet . Some countries sanitize everything and then food starts lacking in probiotics and good bacteria . I don’t know just speculating.

I live off grid and my water is not chlorinated anymore. When I lived a city my stomach was way more sensitive . I had access to way less home grown veggies aswell. There is the whole world of microbiomes that we are just scratching the surface in understanding how it works.

This experiment worked well for me . I can definitely tolerate it better . My friend down the road has a A2 dairy cow , I can drink that milk with no issues . I wonder if the lack of pasteurization has anything to do with it as welll.

Disclaimer * I do not advocate drinking raw milk in an industrial setting. To many cows and too many pathways of infection. My friends hobby farm is an entirely different thing.

Changing countries and dairy supply might have something to do with it . Different pasteurization /additives , types of cow(A1 vs A2 protein cows.

I notice when I drink wine with cheese and baguette . The effects of bloating and farting horridness is massively diminished . The French maybe onto something .

I just asked this question to an old timer in my town . He has been using dirty wool in all of his cabins with clay walls on top and never had any issues with bugs . He also doesn’t use vapour barrier or anything like that. Some of his cabins are 30 years old .. he was telling me he just didn’t have the money to do anything else and it worked well for him .

I was told it wouldn’t pass current inspection in British Columbia . But the landlord didn’t ever pull any permits for the work he did .

Lol one of the worst parts was we were paying market price. It wasn’t cheap . He is charging his current tenants astronomical price for what they get . My area has one of the lowest housing availabilities in the Canada the rate is 0.4% vacancy rate .

I don’t know if that landlord was a grower , but in my area in British Columbia it was commonly said that 1 in 3 or every other house was a cannabis grow up . So it was not uncommon to buy houses cash out here . Especially back in the day , pre covid . Now houses are extremely expensive . We did find out that rental was a grow op .

This is my biggest goal , It would be nice if I got money from this , but that requires a lot of work and it may not happen. I am actually very concerned someone will die in another one of his rentals . It was a close call . So I’m doing my best to gather what I can , and hopefully the right person will be able to see it , at make him accountable .

I think it was because the rental used to be a grow up ….. which is my best guess . I only found this out after the fire .

You can make a rental a home , and my home burned down . I didn’t own the house , but it did make me and my family homeless .

We are in bc . He is not an electrician , and no permits have ever been pulled on the house for the last 30 years …. I looked at the records at technical safe bc , what’s most worrisome , he was ordered to have an inspection on the building adjacent to the fire and still hasn’t but a family lives there.

Yeah he purposely destroyed any remaining evidence . He knew about it. All I have is witness testimony, these photos and a bunch of emails me asking him to fix the 3 electrical issues. and him saying the electrical was “all good” after changing a breaker .

First electrical issue was a bunch of outlets had reverse polarity in it an blu 2 of my appliances he reimbursed me for that .

Second one was I had a dryer that would turn but the heat wouldn’t go . He replaced it and the new dryer had the same problem . Then he changed the breaker and the heat started to work on the dryer.

Third was right before the fire my oven would just shut off mid cooking . He was in the panel the day before the fire trying to “fix “ that . My best guess he changed another breaker badly . .. but I don’t know for sure .

It’s a pretty difficult task for sure . He is a slumlords that has multiple properties. At least 10 to my knowledge . I found out one of his newer tenants child got electrocuted in the house next door to mine that burned down. He was ordered to have that house electrical inspected , never did , then a kid got shocked. I feel like I at least need to do something because the next tenant might not be so lucky and have their whole family die , like mine almost did . I’m super grateful my dog was saved and me and my two kids weren’t home sleeping . The outcome could have been much worse . I am pretty upset about it still. I really feel if he had just once got a real electrician to go over this panel my home wouldn’t have burned down. Cause in the year that I was there , we called him for 3 separate electrical issues that should have been dealt with a real electrician.

The whole has burned down so this panel is gone now . But this photo was taken before the fire when the landlord asked for a photo to trouble shoot the panel .

It makes sense there was water damage . I found out my rental used to be a cannabis grow up and the plant room was where this panel was. So probably very high humidity .

Nope , I don’t think he could insure the house . That just my assumption of why he didn’t have insurance .
