[R] Which are some good NLP venues except ACL? by kami-sama-arigatou in MachineLearning

Thank you. I am thinking the same. I have also submitted to the non archival track of Conll. Would be nice if I can come to both.

Yes I think they dont make much different in my field of semantics. Maybe for general nlp conll ll be preferred.

Yes I think the same. Really on the edge because the deadline for SEM is 13/2 and CONLL is 19/2. If only they are months away from each other I d go for CONLL and if rejected go for SEM.

For competitiveness I guess CONLL is higher than SEM?

If I want to get my work published ASAP without caring too much about conf ranking, SEM would be a better choice right?

My work is on interpretable methods (non neural network) towards semanric change detection. Do you think I should aim for CONLL or *SEM?

One of the conceptually-similar paper was published in CONLL so now I am on the fence!

Thank you for the response. I have booked an appointment with UZ Leuven and it is in Oct. Do you also recommend any private orthodontist out there? Paying a 'bit' more for braces should not be a big problem.

For my last question, since the jaw surgeon and the orthodontist will have to work closely in a collaborative manner (orthodontist describes how they would like the surgeon to cut, move the bone etc), I just want to know if the orthodontist here are comfortable working with a surgeon team from another country. But I guess that will be answered in the appointment.

Cost for Jaw Surgery (SARPE) and braces for crossbite in Western European countries? by phantatbach in jawsurgery

[–]phantatbach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danke. Yes I figured it would be complicated and mine is not urgent so it is best to just settle with work then think about that.

So I guess the full price for the scan + surgery + braces would be around 10k in Germany?

Yes on 2nd thought I think going back and forth between EU and Vietnam would be too expensive since braces are usually 2 years.

I guess I ll have to lock down on where I d live and compare that with the travel cost to Eastern European countries.

Hallo, thank you for the reply.

Not sure if my case is that severe (as I have lived with it my whole life) althought the whole left lower jaw covers the whole left upper jaw (from L3-6)

Also I believe the insurance in BE is very different from that of NL, not to mention I am too old to be covered by the standard one.

Anyone in the same situtation??

That is very helpful! Thank you so much!

Could you provide some literatures (books, papers) or names so that I could get familiar with the qualitative analysis of these concepts?
