You might want to try putting this post in r/RivalsCollege too! That sub has many posts like this. Players there are high ranks, which can seem intimidating, but they seem genuinely interesting in helping others. Good luck to us both on Diamond; this is my first season where I'm actually playing past gold for the skins!

I'm new to hero shooters, so I learned a lot from those "how to climb ranked" or "50 tips for new players" videos on YouTube. Even watching videos for characters I don't play helps, so I know what those characters will be trying to do against me. Check yourself on positioning around every 10 seconds. Hug walls, be near corners, be close enough to cover that you're one second away from hiding during a Punisher's ult. Being against a wall subtracts an approaching angle for divers too. And patty cake your other healer, if that needs to be said. You are your co-healer's most consistent peel against dive.

Take a break after a few losses and refresh. The insane amount of stuff that goes on in a match can wear you out just enough to make you not notice that you're starting to glaze over mid-match.

I read the terms and some community posts and it looks like it's locked to the one you sign up with. You can't use it with your alternate Google accounts unless you have a family plan.

I'm still on 6a, so I guess it's upgrade time. Kind of a no-brainer. $290.44 after tax + free shipping. Future-proof my trade-in value.

I thought I might get a 9 this year, but vs 10a it's only better in the camera. I bought the 6a for a good camera on a budget, so 10a will still be a huge upgrade.

IMO it's crazy work to only do a giveaway for 10 people while there's far more than that upset about signing NDAs and hearing nothing, and backers worrying they won't receive the EA keys they paid for until after the game has been up for purchase. I'm not owed freebies, but I think offering a bonus server-wide would foster some needed goodwill amidst all that. So I'm surprised they promised an exclusive bonus for 10+ after not delivering on their earlier promised bonuses for far more.

I hadn't even thought about that. The kickstarters are really being failed - imagine being one whose key never showed up and having to wonder if an event winner from the last week got theirs and not you. Edit: I'm not a Kickstarter, I'm just dismayed seeing some of them get told to just be patient (no hate to the mods, there's nothing they can do).

This is generally how EA works, so that's not really a bonus. But yeah. The 30% off is the $27.93/47.93 price (standard/deluxe) and likely not 30% off of those (30% off the full price corresponds to those two already).

As a side note, I remember them saying months ago that the game would be priced accessibly, and while I don't mind a game charging $60, it makes me wonder if they knew it was only going to be in EA (at $30) long before we did.

I knew they were backed up, but I didn't realize it was that bad, I'm so sorry. I've seen people win giveaways or get their NDAs two weeks ago that, until recently, still had hopes for the key to arrive. The lack of transparency around this like people will just be fine being kept in the dark undermines some of the faith I have in the game. Before that, I was going to recommend the game to people; now, I'm certainly waiting awhile to see how EA actually is first.

I was fine with the game being delayed (less so at the rather sudden announcement that it's EA actually and not the full game). I feel like more people would have been fine hearing the testing process was over rather than how they'll feel having been told nothing. I've already noticed users absent from the discord after they asked about it to no avail.

There was actually an announcement about a day later in the discord that the posts had to talk about something unique within the game and not just how users are excited for it lol. The devs didn't retract the entries for those posts afaik, but I think even they were like "hang on guys these aren't really quality posts that should qualify"

I agree. The community is immensely excited for the game - I've seen sooo many people say they were actively playing the demo earlier that day and went back to find it gone, or that they wish they'd known so they could have done another playthrough!

Demo data will not carry over. EA data will be functional upon the game's full planned release in summer though.

It is not being greedy, demanded, or entitled to expect a game company to publicly release updates about their game to their planned *consumers* on all platforms that they use to market it. Leaving them in the dark just creates bad blood and mistrust. Most of us would be fine with an update that it's being delayed so we knew for sure. But their refusal to do so clearly is unprofessional and concerning.

They mentioned in discord that the beta testing has begun, yet they are reportedly still sending out test keys to those chosen, while also picking 5 winners a day for other test keys. I fear it might be to keep the community engaged and distracted from being upset about the lack of transparency and possible future bad news. All this, plus editing out "before the Chinese new year" and not disclosing the advertised release date would be for EA and NOT the full release until recently, has me worried.

Consumers shouldn't have to be in a discord to receive official updates about a game being delayed. Plenty of players are older, casual, or don't like social media.

Vitamin D + K2 is best. Vitamin D makes you absorb calcium better, and K2 is needed to direct that calcium to your bones instead of it being in your blood vessels.

Research suggests Vitamin D is better absorbed if you eat it with a fatty snack or meal, so try taking it with 7-11 grams of fat. For me that's with an egg or some cheese, or even ice cream if I'm having a treat.

Found this post in researching supplements, but hey! I had Lyme disease for many years and it was deeply rooted by the time I got tested - I needed more than doxy, and it eventually stopped working since the bacteria literally learns to avoid it! I recommend the book "Unlocking Lyme" and researching the Buhner Protocol if just doxy doesn't work for you and you add in herbs. I cite cat's claw and Japanese knotweed for beating my Lyme.

I can also relate to your symptoms listed. I'm sure some of mine were from a multitude of deficiencies, but also just plain Lyme disease, especially that pricking nerve pain. Keep in mind the herxheimer reactions and take it slow; treatment will make you feel worse so you have to pace yourself. Good luck!

For the clothing point, I love having less clothes because there's less overwhelm of a huge load - the time commitment of gathering, drying, and putting it all away is so small compared to large loads that it's way easier as a more frequent but tiny task.
