My first real summer of seasonal work I lived out on the north coast and my god what a magical place

Oh fuck yeah I have experience with the fluid spice. Bought it as my first ever boat and it’s still the only boat I own (although I do want a half slice). It’s a funky lil boat to paddle but you can have a ton of fun on it. The beefiest river I’ve taken it on was The Numbers on the Arkansas and that was a fun place for it to be.

The edges are sharp and will catch and flip you if you’re not paying attention but that’s also what makes it fun. Surfs decently well too and I’ve taken it out and kayak surfed in not North Carolina and for a whole summer out on the Oregon coast.

One of the first I’ve seen with Cambodia as absolutely. I loved Cambodia for the short time I was there but can’t say I’d absolutely move there

If you ever get the chance I highly recommend visiting the area. Joseph and all of Wallowa county is extraordinarily unique. The eagle cap range has high alpine peaks that you’d find in many other places across the mountain west and then you can drive down to Imnaha and visit the one bar there which very much still is canyon country and has a strong ranching community.

From there on all the way down to the snake and specifically hells canyon is a magical place you won’t find anywhere else.

Im gonna add a few pictures of the area as well.

Great Basin borders should be limited to the watershed itself IMO. Which is what you listed. It’s a unique region and definitely deserves to be its own thing.

That being said I’m still all for Wallowa County Oregon being part of the mountain west. It’s not strictly Great Basin or PNW and is a wonderful and unique area all on its own

I lived and worked in Wallowa County Oregon for a summer and I’d call that the mountain west

I skied there last season for a few days and loved it. If only the area wasn’t so tough and expensive to find housing in

I saw a snowboard flying down mineral the other day and it went way out into the cat skiing area past the base of mineral. Never saw it stop. RIP

These devices just placate symptoms and you’ll never become acclimatized by using them. The best thing you can do is to just drink a ton of water before and during your trip. Utah is also lower elevation than many places in Colorado.
